Sunday offered Jeffery Simmons little to celebrate.

The Titans defensive tackle’s Nashville home was burglarized by “at least six suspects” shortly after 7 p.m. local time on Sunday, the Metro Nashville Police Department told ESPN — while Simmons and his teammates were in San Francisco battling the 49ers on the gridiron.

The suspects gained entry into the home “after smashing out window glass,” and “multiple items were taken” by the burglars.

Simmons called police after he arrived home early Monday morning — and blasted the burglars on social media.

“What if any of my family members was in my house?? All that materialistic s–t you can have but this is crazy!” he wrote.

He also labeled the people who broke into his home “f–king cowards.”

Simmons, who caught his second career touchdown in the 37-24 loss in San Fran, had much kinder words for the police who responded.

“I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Titans’ security team for their professionalism and swift response,” Simmons said in a statement. “Their dedication to ensuring the safety of our entire Nashville community does not go unnoticed. I remain thankful for God’s protection and grace.”

Titans security said it is “actively working” with local police to recover stolen items.

Simmons is not the first athlete to have his home broken into and last year it was headline news as Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and Bengals star Joe Burrow had their homes burglarized in connection with a South American theft group that had busted into a number of athletes’ homes in the NFL and NBA.

Seven men had been charged in connection with the break-ins in February.

Earlier this season, Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders had $200,000 worth of property taken from his home while his team was in Baltimore.

The Titans fell to the 49ers and Simmons recorded a touchdown in the game.
