A downcast Travis Kelce made his way to girlfriend Taylor Swift’s suite on Sunday inside Caesars Superdome after the Eagles thwarted the Chiefs’ hopes of a three-peat with a 40-22 loss in Super Bowl 2025.
Dressed in ’70s-inspired attire that he arrived at the game in, the Chiefs tight end was seen walking through the hallways of the New Orleans venue in footage shared by “Entertainment Tonight” following a disappointing performance across the board.
Kelce, now facing questions about his NFL future, had zero receptions in the first half.
He finished the regular season with career lows in yardage (863) and touchdowns (three).
There was plenty of fanfare surrounding Kelce, 35, entering Sunday’s contest, with many speculating whether it could be his last game.
“I love doing this. I love coming into work every day. I feel like I’ve still got a lot of good football left in me. We’ll see what happens,” Kelce said Monday on Super Bowl Opening Night.
“I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life. That’s always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts so long. You’ve got to find a way to get into another career and another profession. I’ve been doing that in my offseasons. But for the most part I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football.”

Much like Super Bowl 2024, Kelce was cheered on by family members and Swift, whom he has been dating since 2023.
The pop superstar, 35, was featured on the Jumbotron during the contest and received a frosty reception from Eagles fans.
Swift has been supporting Kelce and the Chiefs throughout the past two seasons.
Before Sunday’s game, the couple commemorated Kansas City’s AFC Championship win at Arrowhead Stadium with a kiss.
Although it’s unclear what’s next for Kelce after his 12th NFL season, teammate Patrick Mahomes said postgame Sunday that the decision will fall squarely on the 10-time Pro Bowler.
“I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own,” the Chiefs quarterback told The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy. “He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL, and he’s been such a joy, not only for me to work with, but for people to watch.”
Mahomes, 29, and Kelce have won three Super Bowls together with the Chiefs.
