Giants tight end Tommy Sweeney suffered a scary medical event at practice on Monday.
It is unclear what triggered the event, but he was tended to on a side field and ultimately carted off.
“Tommy Sweeney had a medical event and is under the care of medical professionals in the Giants athletic training room. He is stable, alert and conversant,” the Giants said in a statement.
